In 2008, Lynch dispatched a single group of filmmakers, lovingly known as “the team”, to travel across the country and talk to people about their lives. The result was Interview Project (Interview Project) which won two WEBBY AWARDs. Interview Project is a portrait of everyday Americans filmed during an extensive road trip throughout the United States.
Now as we announced before, Austin Lynch and Jason S. brought the Interview Project to Germany known as the INTERVIEW PROJECT GERMANY presented by David Lynch (http://www.interviewproject.de/).

"HOLY WOOD" - 10.000 trees for Berlin
HOLY WOOD is the fourth thought-provoking impulse with which ENTEGA – together with the Berlin artist Ralf Schmerberg and Trigger Happy Productions – addresses important issues in society.The concept of “HOLY WOOD” is : an art installation during the Berlinale, the foundation of the non-profit initiative “10,000 Trees for Berlin” and a book about the forest. The unifying message: Climate protection concerns us all !
The installation will be displayed from the 10th to the 20th of February 2011 in Berlin at the Tiergarten between Potsdamer Platz and Brandenburger Gate.

The termination of the professional processing of Kodachrome 40 ASA, which is undoubtedly the most successful colour reversal film ever manufactured to suit super 8 motion picture cameras, signals the final end of the Kodachrome era. The production of Kodak films, which came in distinctive little yellow boxes, stopped in 2006. Dwayne's Photo, an independent facility in Kansas which nowadays is the only remaining Kodachrome processing facility in the world, will accept the last films only till December 2010.
Johan Kramer managed to get hold of the very last 25 yellow boxes out there and used them to make portraits of 8-year-olds from all over the Netherlands. By doing so he created an unforgettable souvenir of their youth.
